Whatever she was talking to me about while I worked on some domestic project, she was finding little satisfaction with my feigning interest "Uh-huh" responses.

Cheeks response to Mom's comment after she gave Dad an enthusiastic hug: "I'd be afraid to ask her who she liked better, Mom or Dad?"

"Mommy, I'm going to pull your nose off and flush it down the toilet like a big turd!"

Oh, she thinks she is so funny.

"I DID IT!"

Corinne is enthusiastically devouring beginner puzzles for 3-7yr old ranges. With arms pumping, its fun to see her sense accomplishment and watch the transition from ineptness to "can do". Dad's are in training here too; what does it take to encourage this particular child to excel?

A Couple of Dozers

Nick was on the mend from a rather nasty virus and still working on gathering back his strength. This cute moment, Corinne decided to lounge with him.

"I'm plugging my ears so no one will talk about me."

"I got a booger on the time-out chair. Mommy, wanna come see?"
